About Liquid Lemn

We are companions on the authenticity journey.

Liquid Lemn is a Nairobi-born, Amsterdam-rooted fashion house creating bold, unisex garments for people working their way into their most authentic selves. Our Afroqueer Bohemian designs blend East African heritage textiles (Kikoy, Maasai Shuka, Kanga) with contemporary silhouettes that move with you: kimonos, snoodies, robes, yoga pants, shirt dresses and more experimental styles.

Fashion as conversation, not commodity

Engaging with our community daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly, on the regular. We listen, gather feedback, feed it back into our systems, and watch what it produces. This is not a one-way broadcast; it is co-creation. Liquid Lemn is a space to play with ingredients, to remix, to imagine together.

Heritage in motion

Our production heart beats in Nairobi, where artisans, tailors, and queer youth bring fabrics to life. Our distribution hub flows through Amsterdam, connecting us to European creative markets. This dual base allows us to honor African craft while meeting you where you are, whether that is Nairobi, Amsterdam, or beyond.

Operating from thrive, not strife

We believe in celebrating small wins, building systems that work together, and consulting with each other before acting. Our challenges are interesting because we get to solve them. When we listen to each other and act with resilience instead of fear, we create space for all of us to be co-creators and co-makers.

Our signature: Afroqueer Bohemian

Proud. Disruptive. Unapologetically stylish. Garments that are portals—connecting you to ancestral dreaming while celebrating your individuality in the present.

Resonance is our frequency for 2026

We seek spaces that call to us. Audiences who recognize us. Relationships built on listening, growing, and becoming together.

Liquid Lemn exists to liberate, to disrupt, and to infuse joy into everyday life.
